 FACSM\n\n3-day comprehensive course will cover the techniques and appl
 ications of diagnostic and interventional musculoskeletal ultrasound i
 n the major joint regions of the body. For each joint region, faculty 
 will demonstrate a diagnostic ultrasound protocol, review common patho
 logies, and describe relevant ultrasound-guided interventional procedu
 res. Each participant will complete more than 13 hours of hands-on tra
 ining, including needle tracking skills, ultrasound machine controls, 
 scanning on live models, and performing ultrasound-guided procedures o
 n unembalmed cadavers. Special topics to be discussed include ultrasou
 nd applications in rheumatology and following total joint replacement,
  principles of ultrasound-guided nerve blocks, platelet rich plasma, a
 nd updates on practice accreditation and certification for musculoskel
