This course is designed to provide practitioners with a practical problem-solving approach to sonographic imaging of the female pelvis, including the use of 3D ultrasound. The course is intended to assist learners with patient care decisions by bridging the gap between sonographic findings and clinical interpretation. Course presenters will outline a practical approach to systematic evaluation of a pelvic mass, and they will discuss interpretation of the sonographic appearance of the endometrium in pre- and post-menopausal patients. Course topics will also include description of uterine anomalies and their significance in fertility. Ectopic and failed pregnancy will also be discussed.
