I have a question about songraphic appearance of HEMANGIOMA

WHAT IS THE EXPLANATION FOR ULTRASOUND APPEARANCE CHANGE IN THE SAME EXAM OF HEMANGIOMA?

Means hemangioma can change from hyperechogenic to hypoechogenic in the same ultrasound exam so does anyone have an explanation for that?

Nominations for community secretary for the General and Abdominal Ultrasound Community are being accepted through September 15, 2011.

To nominate a candidate (you may nominate yourself), email Janet Campbell (jcampbell@aium.org) the nominee's name, e-mail address, and community name. Copy (cc) the nominee as proof of the nominee's interest in serving. The nominee, who must be an AIUM member, should submit a brief biographical sketch (100-word maximum) to be included on the ballot.

Nominees should be willing to make a 6-year commitment as they will serve a progressively upward role: 2 years as secretary, 2 years as vice chair, and 2 years as chair. The term of office will begin the day after the close of the 2012 AIUM Annual Convention. Each community leadership team plays a major role in the AIUM’s educational efforts, including, but not limited to, choosing topics for special interest courses, identifying speakers, assigning abstract review teams, designating moderators, and coordinating with the Web Education Committee.

The Donald Milburn Service Award has been established to honor those who have contributed to education in the sonography profession and have provided a valuable service to that community by designing enduring, innovative teaching methods, creative teaching technologies, or other outstanding contributions to sonography education. Individuals and teaching institutions will be considered for this award.

The nomination deadline is August 1st so go to http://www.ifser.org/awards-program/donald-milburn-service-award/ to nominate an educator.
