Every ultrasound specialty. One professional network.

2011 AIUM Annual Convention, April 14 - 17, New York City

Attention Scientists!

The AIUM has designed a schedule of unopposed basic science sessions for the 2011 AIUM Annual Convention. Chandra Sehgal, PhD, will oversee abstract review in basic science, ensuring a range of current scientific content.

Expanded format for more research

AIUM has updated the convention program to accept a larger number of abstracts for oral presentations and scientific posters. All researchers “new and experienced” are encouraged to submit your abstract. Spread the word to your colleagues!

All abstracts regarding original research will be considered for oral presentations and scientific posters. Abstracts previously presented at other meetings may be submitted.

This is your chance to present your findings to a diverse audience at the only meeting for ultrasound professionals of all disciplines in the United States.

Abstract submission open June 7 - September 30 at www.aium.org.

New Investigator Awards

If you are a resident, fellow, faculty member, or sonographer in practice for fewer than 5 years, you are eligible to compete for the New Investigator Award. This year, there will be 2 New Investigator Awards. One $500 prize will be awarded for the best clinical research paper submitted, and a second $500 prize will be awarded for the best nonclinical research paper received.
