Nominations for community secretary for the Emergency and Critical Care Ultrasound Community are being accepted through September 15, 2011.

To nominate a candidate (you may nominate yourself), email Janet Campbell (jcampbell@aium.org) the nominee's name, e-mail address, and community name. Copy (cc) the nominee as proof of the nominee's interest in serving. The nominee, who must be an AIUM member, should submit a brief biographical sketch (100-word maximum) to be included on the ballot.

Nominees should be willing to make a 6-year commitment as they will serve a progressively upward role: 2 years as secretary, 2 years as vice chair, and 2 years as chair. The term of office will begin the day after the close of the 2012 AIUM Annual Convention. Each community leadership team plays a major role in the AIUM’s educational efforts, including, but not limited to, choosing topics for special interest courses, identifying speakers, assigning abstract review teams, designating moderators, and coordinating with the Web Education Committee.

Dear Dr Peena,

Dear Dr Penna,

This info, I think, might be helpful: it is a copy of an email from Prof Gilani. Unless I misunderstood your endeavour...

I am looking for an international organization involved in teaching physician’s ultrasound protocols and techniques. There are many foundations that donate ultrasound equipment to physicians in needed areas but they do not provide the training to make the best use of the equipment.
Can anyone suggest an organization or company that may be employing?
Thank you!
