Article in the last issue of Journal of Ultrasound in Medicine titled "Acute Findings of Acute Vasitis" was an interesting read.

 

The inflammatory changes of the Vas in the spermatic cord a good case series describing the findings and images showing the pathology.  An uncommon findings that we should be aware of and document above and beyond the presence of epididymitis.

 

I have seen a couple of these cases in the ED, anyone else seeing this occuring?

Thanks Dr Nomura for this nice article. So long I was wondering , some times, what was this thckened structure in the sp cord , in cases of epididymitis. I am so happy that I got an answer. Thanks again.
