Every ultrasound specialty. One professional network.

In routine fetal echo , We  see the situs, 4 chamber view, OT views, 3 vessel view , arch views. Other than these we see the IVC, SVC entering the RA (veno-atrial connection ) (Seagull sign).

In the same way how to proceed for the proper fetal venous system evaluation.

Thank you  for the nice discussion.

Do you mean right sided venous doppler evaluation or venous return to the heart anatomic evaluation?

A couple of additional venous structures that should be interrogated as a standard on all fetal cardiac examinations are:

- color and spectral Doppler of the ubilical vein and ductus venosus

- color and spectral Doppler of the pulmonary venous connections; at least two pulmonary veins (one from each lung)

- spectral Doppler of the umbilical cord vasculature (venous and arterial patterns)

Hope that helps,

Joe
