Every ultrasound specialty. One professional network.

This is a case of a 26 year old female delivered by LSCS 2 months ago and she came for USG with complaints of pain in the right groin.A thickwalled cystic lesion with internal echoes is noted in the right iliac fossa lateral to the right ovary and bladder and extending into the right inguinal region. No mural nodules.Wall calcification noted in the lesion.Right ovary is seen seperately from the lesion.

Can  you suggest the possible diagnosis .I thought it was an endometrioma.Iam yet to get a followup on this.

Thanks for this puzzle. Could be organized collection secondary to surgery. Does she has fever.

Could you pl check the previous USG  done prior to LSCS ? It could well be endometrioma.

Wall calcification might indicate hydatid cyst.  What about Broad ligament cyst ?

It is ofcourse fluid collection post op with some organized solid area instead cystic lesion
