Every ultrasound specialty. One professional network.

I often come across this endometrial pattern, typically in young infertile women with normal ovaries and REGULAR, NON FOUL-SMELLING, MENSES. No h/o intermenstrual PV discharges etc; not even h/o IUCD or Foreign Body / herbal insertion....

Some with, some without previous abortions., With this sample case I examined twice: 1st encounter possibly in pre secretory phase, then I asked her to come back in midcycle phase.

Got the same picture. Unfortunately I never get histopathological feedback from referring colleagues. I therefore remain with my differentials.

Could you colleagues provide an ON SPOT DIAGNOSIS, OR A NEAR=FECTHED Dx for this kind of endometrial patern;  Thank you.

It looks like a normal "secretory phase" echogenic endometrium.   How about CL in either of the ovaries?

Doc as I had posted earlier, the the ovaries are unremarkable, and this was the midcycle, there were corpus luteal changes with the first sonogram, and mid-cycle changes in the ovaries with the second one..the endometrium remaining the same.

Got the same pattern 2 weeks earlier...secretory phase  is unlikely to persist for more than 2 weeks!

It should be pathological....but which one? this is what I would like to know.
