What is TRUS? trans rectal?
I have tried trans labial on the outside with good results
I already do transrectal study in patients after menopause and those subjected to perineoplasty in which I find great difficulty in passing the transducer through the vagina. I think there is also the possibility of conducting this study in naive patients, where there is acceptance.
Yes we have performed lot of Translabial for cervical assessment and placental assessment its accuracy in literature is about 87% which is near to transvaginal whereas transabdominal is just 74-76% accurate in these two conditions.
Have you tried TRUS in patients where there is contrindication of TVS.

In addition to Post menopausal ,virgin(with intact hymen) is another indication,i prefer it in early pregnancy if patients comes with PV Bleeding.
