Educational Standard has been raised from last few years, like students having the variety of options to select as their career option. I remember few years back, hardly few student's moves towards ultrasound and sonography education. However, now time has changed, student love to take and discuss about the same. That's really a good sign. Even in terms of financial help, there are numerous scholarships and grants for sonography school and ultrasound schools students to help pay for school as well as for the living expenses incurred while attending school.

1) American Institute of Ultrasound in Medicine) Scholarships
2) SDMS Educational Foundation General Scholarship
3) SDMS Presidential Scholarship
4) Sladek Critical Medical Career Scholarships

These are few names just clicked in my mind so i mentioned, but defiantly there are more options available.
Of course, the ultrasound technician salary range varies depending on the education and experience level of the sonographers, the number of specialties practiced, the geographic location, the facility and many other factors. The median sonographer salary is just under $62,000/year, according to the SDMS Salary and Benefits Survey report, so the prospects are obviously good regardless. The ultrasound tech salary that was considered for this report included hourly salary, overtime and on-call pay. Hourly wages for sonographers average out at about $30 per hour with most ultrasound technicians and related professionals working about three overtime hours per week and earning an additional $3 per hour for on-call work.

yes the standards have even raised in developing countries, but still there is variablity, most of the people or centers have their own standards. Most of the senior people are reluctant to followw any society or any protocols.
Societies in developed countries have no time rather human resources to help the people in developing countries. You will find one or two or few people in each country who travel and learn, now its their way they transfer that knowledge to their community.
LETS THINK ABOUT AIUM COMMUNITIES--A GLOBAL COMMUNITY--TRY TO HELP PEOPLE WHO WISH TO LEARN ULTRASOUND IN DEVELOPING COUNTRIES.
