This community consists of professionals interested in all aspects of ob ultrasound. Discussions include administrative issues such as coding, practice administration, and news about legislation concerning obstetric ultrasound.

The General & Abdominal Ultrasound Community represents professionals that are involved in general abdominal imaging, including areas of the abdomen and retroperitoneum, as well as superficial parts of the body.

This new AIUM community consists of physicians and basic scientists interested in advancing the efficiency and awareness of ultrasound applications for therapeutic benefit.

Professionals interested in ultrasound imaging of the thyroid and parathyroid glands will discuss related topics including the ultrasound exam, thyroid cancer staging, and guided biopsies and interventional procedures.

The Emergency & Critical Care Ultrasound Community includes individuals involved with the use of ultrasound in the analysis of emergency care patients. Disciplines vary from pediatrics, to obstetrics and gynecology, surgery, and general medicine.

The Gynecologic Ultrasound Community consists of professionals involved in the sonographic imaging of the female pelvis, including the fallopian tubes, uterus, and ovaries.

The Cardiovascular Community provides a forum for discussion of issues of interest to sonographers and physicians involved in the science and practice of cardiac and vascular ultrasound.

This community consists of those involved with the actual performance of the ultrasound exam and those with an interest in ultrasound practice management. Topics include reimbursement, guidelines, management, repetitive stress injuries, and more.
