Salary compensation

I work in a small rural hospital, about 30 beds, critical access facility. We only have 2 full time ultrasound techs to cover nights, weekends, holidays etc, We cover inpatients / outpatients / ERthrough multiple modalities. My question is I scan all ultrasound modalites but am only paid for ones registered in, yet the facility expects me to do Echocardiograms also. I would like to take a small poll of wage ranges around the country. Is 32.00 hourly to low?See More

"I agree. I think the physicians ordering these exams are being pressured by admistrative groups to improve volumes and revenues, inturn are ordering far more exams that are unecessary. Somtimes a way for them to deal with their increase in patient…"
