"It may be the protocol of ACOG? But in clinical practice no need to make to separate reports just mention on the heading TAS & TVS  "

Transabdominal/Transvaginal studies 76856/76830

Someone in our office just got back from an ACOG meeting in which they were told that we must generate two seperate reports when doing both of these procedures in the same day. Both of these reports need measurments of anatomy. We have been using "Sonultra" reporting software and have been generating a combined report. I was wondering what everone else was doing.See More

Reimbursement on 3D charges

Is everyone using 3D sweeps as part of thier sonohyst's? If so, are you having any problems getting reimbursed for that portion? Of late we have been having issues with certain insurance carriers not wanting to reimburse fo the 3D, stating its unnecessary.See More
