Hi Mobark. you had asked about qualifications to work in the US as a sonographer and I can say there are few qualifications necessary. Only a few states require sonographers to obtain the ARDMS registries. With that said however, hospitals will require qualification and most everywhere else highly encourages sonographers with registry. Without RDMS, RDCS, or RVT titles, it is unlikely to get hired. I think to take the test it has to be through ardms center,and it sounds that no center in sudan for ardms,but I am going to call the ardms office for the closest center you can take the test like egypt or maybe somewhere in the middle east.I will check for you.

if you are in sudan,can you take the ardms test in sudan.

thanks for getting back to me,I do agree with you,my understanding is govermment hospitals are poorly equiped,but maybe in private practice are better equiped I guess,do you have a chance to get your ardms from sudan,let me know.
